December 6th, 2003 - Saturday Sudden Plans Last night Hayley was up at 11:20, 2:15, and from 4 until 6:30. Then she took a very exciting 45 minute nap. And that's all I'm saying about that. Let's just leave it at the fact that I had three cups of coffee today, which is unusual for me.    I woke up to find out that the guy who is recording a Christmas album was coming over this morning. That was a surprise, especially since he once again arrived while I was still in my pajamas. Jeez. Hayley and I hung out in the living room, playing and listening to music for awhile. Then I brought the rats out since they're hard for her to see. Normally they're up on top of her dresser but then I have to hold her so that she can see them. I put them on top of the cd rack so that they were high enough that she couldn't bang on the cage and scare the hell out of them, and they entertained her for quite awhile as they climbed up and down the bars for her.

I thought that we didn't have anything ahead of us for the day or evening and had kind of resigned myself to a quiet Saturday but then George got a call and told me we had been invited over to Dino and Nancy's for pizza and movies. It's kind of ironic that we finally have ingredients for seven days' worth of suppers and yet we're going to go have pizza. I don't care though, going out for a relaxing dinner and a DVD or two with friends sounds just fine to me! The Moussaka will have to wait until tomorrow I guess! And on that note, I'd better get Hayley changed so we can be ready to go later. Happy Saturday! << - Journal index - >>
